Hi!
Can anybody tell me what the abbrevations in the analysis of a game means?
So much I figured out: Re4???? Means Bad move
But what does p.e. mean: M+16 oder 17?

With best regards
Max

Hi!

Sorry for late answer.

Re3 means "rook go to e4"

M+16 means "white mates black in 16 moves"
M-16 means "black mates white in 16 moves"

And what WOULD be the better move for Black when it says:
14 0.35 Nc6 .....
14 -1. Be7 .....
14 -0.35 exd4

With best degrasse

Positive value (0.35) tells us that white has advantage 0.35 pawns. Negative value (-0.35) tells that black has advandage 0.35 pawns. It means exd4 isn't good for white because it gives black advantage while white has the best move Nc6.
